Would love to join/form a band to play around the local area and enjoy the music; am open to the idea of recording but not insisting on it; have some ongoing playing experience but not really in a typical band setting; been playing bass guitar for about a year and self-taught on it, however I have formal music instruction on several other instruments; read music; would be willing to help compose or happy to just play covers; am a full-time student so am not available during the day on weekdays.

Influences
Pretty much all Rock And Roll (that is, Classic Rock and all it's built on - i.e. blues, folk, soul, jazz, etcetera, etcetera).
That being said, I hate the idea of putting labels on music so I don't particularly believe in genres - I also like classical music and, when I refer to Classic Rock, I include things that some may view as offshoots of it (including some punk and metal). I am also not averse to Christian/Gospel and/or Celtic if that's what interests you. If in doubt, feel free to ask.
