ABOUT

I have experience playing shows as a new drummer. In the last 2 years I have performed more shows than I can count from Toronto to Hamilton. I'm currently just browsing for other like-minded musicians, singer/songwriters, guitarists and bassists to jam and have some fun with, and if there's magic, we'll take it from there. Modern/alternative rock is what I'm used to playing, however I'm open to any possibilities. I love a heavy sound as much as I love to play mellow as long as it's all being performed tastefully.

My musical intent is to have a sound not confined to distortion and double bass/blast beats on the drums, but to incorporate the energy you get from it, into radio-friendly, catchy, melodic and memorable music. (Need a real singer, not a screamer, I'm sorry but screaming isn't singing.) I live for the clean electric guitar sound with maybe a bit of reverb, maybe some chorus if it calls for it, played loud and full of energy, epic breakdowns and a chorus people will be singing on their way home from the show.

I have experience only in writing and playing my own music in different bands and I'm open to ideas and creativity from those around me.
I do have my own transportation and can contribute to band costs if things get serious and I am only putting in the same amount of effort I get back from whoever I play with.

When we're not jamming, I will be practicing and working on it at home on my own time, I would like to be able to start performing again, but I understand that magic takes time. That said, I would never rush into that until the band is tight and I'm willing to work on it.
