I'm interested in playing latin jazz! I play congas and would love to get in with some dynamic jazz players. I also study tabla and if anyone out there is learning classical Indian sitar, santoor, or whatever I really want to jam some Hindustani with you! I can play reggae well on drumkit and love it, but other than that I do prefer to stick to my percussions. However I will happily play bluegrass, blues, or rock on a kit. I just want to play music! I can rock a great djembe too. I'm a sensitive percussionist and I've had lots of experience playing with other musicians. I don't just hit the skins, I play with everyone, and I'm serious about learning pieces and making the whole thing sound balanced. ;)

Influences

I'm influenced by all music. I have a deep love for Indian classical music and have been studying it for 4 years under traditional tutelage. I fell in love with Montréal's jazz scene when I lived there and started playing latin jazz on congas.
