ABOUT

Tyler Reiner's Biography

Hailing from Toronto, Ontario Canada, Tyler Reiner (aka “The Jeeb”) you could say was born to pound the skins. He is the son of metal drumming legend Robb Reiner of Anvil. He was even literally “rocked in the cradle” as his parents put him to sleep at night with heavy drum solos as nursery rhymes and had a toy snare by his first birthday. He began playing drums at the age of four. Tyler has always had a fascination and love for playing drums but remarkably did not start playing drums seriously until the age of 14! He played in several different bands while in high school and was the drummer for the Toronto based band Invermier for five years. He has recently left Invermier to vigorously pursue other opportunites for success.

Tyler’s main influences [other than his dad] are Buddy Rich, Ian Paice, Keith Moon and Travis Barker. His fathers drumming and style preference is clearly evident in his playing. He is also an avid fan of hardcore, punk, jazz and hip-hop styles. He incorporates the combination of these styles into His personal playing style. His drumming has an incredibly well rounded sound that adapts to any style of chorus, verse, or breakdown.
