ABOUT

I'm Timo, 19. I play electric and acoustic guitar, but mostly electric. I want to create the next big, special rock band with the new, unique sound. I also write songs. I've been playing for around six years. I want to make meaningful, emotional music. I like rock, folk, grunge, prog and related stuff in general. My favourite musicians are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, The Smiths and Nick Drake, Rush, Focus, The Doors and Black Sabbath. I like to play very emotionally and melodically. I like to play heavy rock like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath with some Pink Floyd and Rush-like prog with some folk like Nick Drake and grunge like Nirvana elements added, mixing these and going from one to the other. I also write poetic song lyrics, concerning things like death, mental health, etc. I am looking to start or join a band with people around my age in Ottawa, the usual singer, bassist, drummer and maybe keyboardist and another guitarist. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, The Smiths, Nick Drake, Rush, Focus, Black Sabbath... I think I sound most like Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Jan Akkerman, Alex Lifeson and Tony Iommi.

Epiphone Les Paul Special 2, Marshall MG15CFX with effects amp.Yamaha F310 acoustic and Yamaha CG122MS Classic, but I don't use the classical.
