I want to join a band and I am seeking a band who is interested in doing cover songs AND interested in writing good music with me at the same time, as well as record music at a professional studio and perform at live shows. I know a lot of very talented local bands who write awesome music and still include one or two cover songs during their performance just to entertain their audience even more. It's good to be able to do both cover songs and write your own original songs combined. I find that extremely multi-talented if you're able to do both. Of course I would focus on my original music that I write a lot more but once in a while, it's good to have 1 or 2 cover songs played during your 5-10 sets of your original music on a live stage.

Guns N Roses, Queen, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Scorpions, Def Leppard (basically most of the rock bands from the 70s/80s). I'm an oldies fan :)
