ABOUT
We are a tribute act to The Police. We play all the well known songs, and many of the songs they did not play live, recreating all the excitement and fun of The police during their heyday of 1978 to 1983.
The Outlandos was created in 2009, when Rich decided he wanted to start playing in a band again. "I had been doing some projects on and off over the years, but was getting discouraged with progress. I decided that, being I love the music of The Police, I would like to play that now as a live act." So, Rich put up an ad for guitarist and drummer, and waited. The ad was answered by Andy in summer 2009. They met and decided to get it going !!! A drummer was recruited, and they started putting the songs together. They 2 have played with a few of drummers since then, after finally getting the great talents of Kyle.
The band has various sets; 1 hour set of the hits, a full evening of all the great music, or any various compilations.
We are available for anything from private parties, corporate events, festivals, multiple band events or full evenings of Police music.
