Trevon Hills (Stone Figga) was born in Trinidad & Tobago. At the age of 7 he moved to Toronto, Canada. Before the move he grew up listening to Soca & Calypso but upon moving to Canada he was exposed to Hip Hop & fell in love with it. Its heavy beats & clever word play intrigued him, while its real world content help him through tough challenges in life. He started to rap in high school. It kept him away from the gangs & drugs & gave an outlet for which he could cope with all of life's struggles. He was given the name Stone Figga by a fellow high school rapper who mad fun at the fact that when he's delivering his words he hardly moves, almost statue like. He has struggled with his art for many years & is now sharpening his skills in the production field as well. He is surely one to look out for.
