Advanced intermediate sax player, and good secondary lead singer and/or background singer.
I'd be interested in joining an established band that "enjoys" playing together (it's got to be fun) and performs or considers performing a gig from time to time.

Influences

I enjoy playing popular sax solos such as It's still rock & roll to me (Billy Joel), Baker Street (Gerry Rafferty), Give a little bit (Supertramp), Careless Whisper (Wham), Urgent (Foreigner), Us and Them (Pink Floyd), Money (Pink Floyd), You belong to the city (Glenn Frey), Who can it be now (Men at Work), etc. Name the tune, I am keen to practice it to get the solo right. The saxophone sound is cool and enriches most tunes even as a background instrument when there are no sax solos. Merges in very nicely in many types of bands.

I enjoy lead-singing Styx, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Barry Manilow, Kool and the Gang, Spandau Ballet, Elvis, Duran Duran, Village People, Commodores, and many more, but, I don't feel I qualify for full-time lead singer plus I really want to play the saxophone. (st.pelletier courrier chaud c..m) I enjoy background-singing almost anything (I even did it in Chinese once, in Hong Kong :-) ).
