ABOUT

I am a female drummer looking to form an all female band or not, I will at this point include male musicians but ideally would love an all-female band. I live in the Durham region GTA east. I have free rehearsal space located in my home. I am looking for dedicated musicians that are willing to do the following:

* Available to practice at least 2 times a week in order for us to get tight at first, once we are at the level of perfection then we can get together once a week
* Willing to travel to my home to practice as I am not willing to lug my kit for practices
* Living in the east is preferable but not necessary if you are willing to travel and commit
* Must have own transportation
* Willing to do your homework and practice your material on your own time
* Must have a goal to be gigging in the near future
* Willing to gig at least 2 times a month
* I am in my late 40’s; I guess age is not that important but over 30 please

I have available guitar/bass amps, full PA, cords, mics. The only thing you need to bring is your instruments, pedals, effects etc. The jam room is pretty much air tight, so good hygiene is very important.

ABOUT YOU: We will need a Singer, Guitarist (lead and/or rhythm) and Bassist; even a Keyboardist would be nice. Talent is important you must have experience playing your instrument. The guitarist must be good enough to handle lead and fills incase we don’t' have a rhythm player or keyboardist. You must love music and be serious enough to want to succeed. Like to have fun, not egotistic, dedicated, willing to learn new things and want to ROCK OUT !!!!!!

ABOUT ME: I have been drumming on and off for about 20 years, have played a few gigs for family and friends, private parties and with various musicians. For the last few years have played with different sets of musicians (males and female) that really did not take their music seriously and now I am looking to play with females that are on the same page and have the same goals, can commit and most importantly want to commit and that is why I have decided to do my own thing. Having fun is really really important to me and we must all gel as well. I have been playing classic rock, pretty much what you hear on Q107. Looking to play the same plus newer stuff not set on any style/type of music, it is whatever works and sounds good.
