ABOUT

Shakin’ is a four-piece band delivering a diverse range of classic rock, blues and emotive ballads to create a moving and memorable experience for those looking for great entertainment value in their next social, corporate or charitable event.

Shakin’s broad appeal is grounded in John Gow’s versatile vocal stylings complemented by Keith Riley on guitar, Brett Weisbrod on bass and drummer Tom Vandeloo. Each brings unique experience and skills to produce a “sum which is greater than all the parts”.

Shakin’s upbeat nature, eccentric humour and unique spin on enduring standards invokes a party atmosphere wherever they perform. There are lots of rock’n'roll standards that you’ll hear, as well as a few great songs that bands typically don’t cover, but that you’ll instantly recognize and enjoy!

We encourage you to consider having Shakin’ perform at your next event. We are available to play such venues as bars, yacht clubs, corporate, community or charitable events, grand openings, Christmas parties, banquets festivals and any fund raising functions.
