I love what's happening with acoustic and folk music in the indie scene. Bon Iver, fleet foxes, feist. I like bands with eclectic sounds and definitely take an artistic approach to melody and song structure. I play claw hammer banjo heavily influenced by Megafaun to start with but now just love to here the bubbly clucking and rolling sounds in the mix of great recordings. I like open tunings, and female vocalists. I'm an inexperienced gigger but want to start collaborating with some friends or help add to their projects if we share something
