I'm rather new to playing music. I played alto sax and viola back in grade and high school respectively, but there was a long period of time that I didn't play much of anything. At least, not in any serious capacity.
About 5 months ago I started with some guitar lessons, and have gotten fairly far I think. I started drum lessons this year, and that's coming along well, too.
When it comes to actually performing music, though, I've never done it past the string ensemble in high school, which was a good 15 years ago.
As a result, I'm a bit self-conscious about my playing, and would love to find a person or people who could help me to get out of my shell and, at the very least, have some fun jamming or writing songs.

Influences
I have no specific influences. I find that certain songs from a band will inspire me, but not the band themselves. My likes range greatly from Elton John and Queen to Nickelback, AC/DC, etc.
EQUIPMENT
I have lots of instruments, though I don't really play them all.

-2 electric guitars (I also have 2 beater electric guitars to fool around on)
-Small 15 watt amp
-Various pedals
-Acoustic drum kit

-2 keyboards
