The Sam Sly band formed in early 2005 in a back room of a strip club, which was used for practice sessions and many debates, located in the dirty south of Canada. Lead Vocalist/Guitar player Sam Sly and Lead Guitar player/backing vocalist Charles Diab (The Charb) were taking a break from performing as an acoustic duo in the Windsor/Detroit music scene. While struggling with loss of family members and personal illnesses Sam Sly and Charles Diab manage to write and capture an original sound unleashing the rioting fires which skulk within their souls!

Drummer Joe Sarkis (Juice) and bass player Brad Sweet are explosive! Pulsating audiences with their thunderous sound and jolting them with their electrified performances!

Although Sam Sly and his band are not concerned with the need to cut through the clutter of modern day pop, they consistently write songs that deliver infectious hooks and driving melodies. Canada Social Magazine describes Sam Sly’s music as “RAW, POWERFUL and DRIVING!”

Sam Sly and company will return to Chowtown studios in Detroit this spring to finish their debut album “Mischievous & Knowing”. Konquistadors lead guitar player Dave Andechow will be the man behind the board as the boys brew up new songs that will be sure to have that signature Sam Sly edge.
