Hey all. I'm a forty-something Mississaugite, who plays bass and sings. I'm looking for a band or like-minded individuals to form a band, to ideally play out once or twice a month, likely doing covers from any decade, that the kids love but perhaps not necessarily tunes that you'd hear all the time from any old bar band. Songs that make you say to yourself "Man, I love this f**king tune...". Edgey, rocking, maybe even danceable. I really like the power-trio format, but I'm up for anything. I've come up in the seventies-classic-rock-eighties-new-wave-nighties-alternative sort of vein and enjoy playing the unexpected and "making it our own" as Simon used to say, as long as it blows someone's mind. I'd love to do a retro 80's thing too, with the right people, especially a great keyboardist.

I have really wide and varied taste, but lately have been rocking out to Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, The Clash, Black Keys among others. I've also been listening to a lot of 80's alternative/retro lately.
