I've been playing electric guitar for a while now, even having an hiatus of quite some time on playing, I'm pretty comfortable with the axe.
I didn't play with too many bands, but the ones that I played, we did very well, but I am always dreaming on finding the perfect fit band for me, or building one on my own, and that's why I am building up this "Rob L Project".
The first goal for this project is to find the right guys who share the same idea, and start having some fun playing few covers in the beginning. I don't know much covers, but I will learn the ones that we all agree upon.
After that, practicing those songs, we should start building our own material.
From there, recording and Gigs will come as a natural path.
This project is starting as an One-Man-Band, meaning that I am starting it myself, doing everything, recording backing tracks to support myself playing my guitar.
Ideal style? My vision is to blend some diverse styles that will end up with our own style. Here is a soup of bands that I would like to blend their style into this:
Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Vanden Plas, Within Temptation, Devin Townsend Project and Delain

Age is not a concern, as long as you share the same ideas and pace. We all have families and work, therefore, the goal is to have fun and try to get somewhere. Recording our material and doing gigs around GTA would be an awesome achievement.
