Started drumming at age 12 in drum corps...did orchestral percussion in high school...Early rock influences: Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix),Ian Paice (Deep Purple),Bill Ward (Black Sabbath)...later influenced by jazz, funk, punk, reggae, R&B...all in the mix
