Rick was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His musical influence was borne of growing up in a home filled
with his fathers’ music. His father (now 79) is an accomplished musician who still performs live from time to time.
“Watching him play inspired me then to learn, and inspires me today to write and compose”.
Some of Rick’s songs were inspired from current events.
Such songs include:
Off My Shoes,Too Many Mishaps , How many Last Straws, Never Look Away,
What Time will Tell, Kill the Corrupt, Pile it High, & See Your Past
Other songs have a more personal connection such as:
Inspirational Feeling, Tribute to Jim Morrison, We’d Smile Again, Then Your Eyes met Mine,Hope for Love, Looking Back over Time, & Why Have I Waited.
Rick began creatively writing after the tragic death of his cousin Grant on XMAS Day ’05. Something good has come from something bad ....
Amost all songs posted are exclusively Rick’s work except " I still Cant Say Goodbye"
Ricks says comments, reviews and Insults:

We'd Smile Again
We'd Smile Again Album: ITDN Genre: Acoustic
It was a Friday night I was at the bar, When I saw you across from me, Our eyes met, then we smiled, As I was talking with friends. But from time to time we’d take another look, And we’d smile again, The time was ticking by slowly. There was a glow about you, I’d try not to stare, But I couldn’t help how I felt, I take another look but you’d catch me, I knew what I had to do. I walked up to you and said hello And will you marry me, You just laughed, and thought, that I was crazy. Solo We had some small talk, I gazed into her eyes, And we smiled a lot, Had long red hair, Wasn't from around here, The smile was wide as a sunset. Your hair smelt, of mandarin orange, Your eyes sparkled in the dim light, Your heart was warm and opening up, And could you be really … falling for me, Could I just be … that lucky ?
