I have always loved to sing but only recently started doing so publicly in the last year. I have received such an overwhelming response to my performances that I would like to explore singing with a band. Just into my forties I have a range of artists I cover: Adele, Alicia keys, Anastasia, Tina Turner, Joss Stone, Florence and the Machine, Heart, Jann Arden, Carrie Underwood, Dixie Chicks, Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James are some of them. I have a very wide range of influences in many of the music genres as I listed above. I prefer to sing songs that challenge my range.
I am still working on my stage presence but I know working with a band behind me would give me the confidence and support I need to put this last piece of the puzzle into my shows. I have performed at a couple of the Saturday Blues Jams at the Yale and loved it!
