I play contemporary fingerstyle guitar, bouzar (guitar-shaped "Irish" bouzouki) and tenor banjo and compose instrumental music in both celtic and non-celtic genres. I'm looking for serious, dedicated partners who wish to explore modern neo-celtic and non-celtic acoustic music in a duo, trio or band format. CFM/AFM Local 571 member.

Influences

Many fingerstyle guitar players (eg. Bensusan, Hedges, Ross, McManus, Siberil, le Bigot and many more) but also many celtic players and bands (Bothy Band (O'Dohmnaill), Lunasa (Hennessey), etc.) and a few "world" music bands, especially Nordic (eg. Vasen), Breton (eg. Pennou Skoulm) and Galician/Asturien (eg. DRD).

EQUIPMENT

Professional acoustic guitars ranging from OM, Concert/Mini-Jumbo and Jumbo "standard" guitars to a multi-scale fan-fret baritone, an 8-string tenor (bouzar), an old tenor banjo, a 26-string Irish harp and a Kala UBass. I have top-quality performance equipment (including amps and PA for small halls) and have a reasonably well-equipped though small recording studio.
