ABOUT

Since my practice time is short, I've focused on playing only originals. I have over 20 originals so far and have sung in 16 of them. Posted on soundcloud.com under Jeremy Zed Golden. I've been told my music is modern, young and hip, with a good beat. I'd like to work with a singer or songwriter but really all I want at this time is to put some songs together on video, yours or mine, with some like minded individuals. Or if your in a band or are some musicians just jamming, I'll buy some beer and pizza, set up my video camera, then party, jam and film with whatever works. I love bar dance music, I'm a good freestyle dancer. To me there are 2 types of music, get off your chair and dance music or kick back and relax listening music. I kinda sing but need practice although that's not my main focus. I live in Pickering, so Durham or Toronto would work. jeremy.g@mail.com or text is OK 647-888-5589

Influences

All music influences me. Typically though if it sounds good and is played on the radio I'll listen to it although I'm not a big fan of screaming loud crazy heavy metal styles but that's only my personal preference. Got my own combined unique style but I'll listen to whatever is popular on the Radio. I grew up listening to the radio There are numerous one hit wonders and unrecognized artists out there who play great.

EQUIPMENT

I don't think the manufacturer matters. Acoustic. electric, harmonica, keyboard, with lots of nicks dents and scratches. I talked to this guy once playing his mint shiny new looking guitar. He says he doesn't play enough. I asked where he stores it and he says he polishes it and puts it away in his case. There's the problem I said. I just leave mine out and if I have a sec I'll play a bit. Even my kids bang on them, knock the over and break the strings. Ahhh, drives me crazy but otherwise there just a piece of wood. Might as well burn them in the fireplace, have a party and a glass of wine.
