ABOUT
Permilla started out as a group of guys jamming trying to learn how to play their instruments. Unable to play standing up, and at times using tupperware as a drum kit, they progressed to being able to stand up, and got a basic drum kit on Kijiji.
Bored with performing cover tunes the band started playing Open Mics such as Jordan House and Romby's featuring their own music, and in a short time, had written 8 songs. Their favourite location to write is in their Mancave's with some BBQ - a real canadian tradition.
Compared to 5440 and Blue Rodeo at times, the band continues to carve out its own sound.
