I am looking to get back into singing again. I played with a country band for about 2 years travelling Sask, Alberta and B.C. in 1980
I decided after that to put a band together myself and had a 4 piece band for about 2 years and kept everyone working full time. We did a bit of everything from Country to Rock.
I then added 2 more people and kept them all working full time for another 2 years.
I was married in England in 1988 and when we came back to Canada a friend put a band together and we played for a short time as my husband is a drummer, singer also.
We quit the music for several years and decided to do a Tribute to Neil Diamond as my husband sounded just like him. We took it on the road for about 3 years. I had some great costumes made for him and on the road we went. I sang some duets, did harmonies, ran sound, sold CD's took photo's of him singing to the women and sold them at the show. I did all the booking. It was a lot of fun but after my son passed away we decided to quit the music business once more.
Now at 61 I am ready to do something part time again so I am looking to play again. If anyone has any idea's please let me know.
