We are looking for a pro-level guitar and/or keyboard player (or possibly even a bass player) with strong vocals, preferably a tenor voice, but the ability to harmonize is the more important criterion.
We are a tight, rockin’ trio with good vocals and excellent harmonies. We play classic Beatles, Hollies, Eagles, & Cougar tunes, a few originals and some more recent material, with emphasis on strong arrangements, good endings, and dead-on vocal parts. We are committed to excellence, and making the show memorable. We are all experienced, (40-50 year-old) former professional musicians. We have all played the local chicken-wing circuit, some have played in clone bands and some in touring acts. We have a rehearsal studio at Coxwell and Gerrard, equipped with a PA system and an 8-track recorder, where we rehearse weekly.
You like to solo, but you are quite willing to play rhythm. You understand dynamics, and know when not to play. You have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. Professionalism is important to you, so you come to weekly rehearsals prepared, willing to spend the time to get it right. You are properly equipped, have your own transportation, and are willing to gig once or twice a month.
