ABOUT

Playing for over 30 years, Don has also had a long history as a musician, on stage and in the studio. Don started playing professionally at a young age spending many years as a road musician.
Beginning in Niagara, Don started out with a five piece country band consisting mostly of musicians under the age of 18. This lead to extensive touring of Canada before returning to Niagara and joining top Niagara rock group, ‘The Shoes’. From there it was back on the road with a Dire Straits tribute band ‘The Sultans’. From there, Don joined Toronto group ‘Blue Tattoo’ and continued traveling Canada. Once returning to Niagara Don created Rattlesnake which still can be seen in various venues in Ontario. Over the last number of years Don has been also doing session work in studio, filling in with groups when needed and had played with local cover band groups ‘Revival’ and ‘Summerfield’. Over the past couple of years he played for Kim in KGB.
Other bands that Don has shared the stage with included ‘David Wilcox’, Johnney Paycheck,, ‘Garry Lewis and the Playboys’ (This Diamond Ring), ‘Danny and the Juniors’ (At the Hop), Classic IV (Spooky), Leslie Gore (Its my party and I’ll cry if I want to), ‘The Wilkinson’s’, ‘Jamie Warren’, ‘Farmers Daughter’, ‘Beverley Mahood’ among others, along with appearing at the Ontario Country Music awards in 2000.
