ABOUT
We have strong songwriting and great ears. We're told that our sound varies from a Pavement-y Radiohead to Third Eye Blind with a far better singer to early Coheed. With our new drummer, we've been writing more urgent, Bloc Party-like stuff lately. We play what feels good, without betraying the artistic side of it all. We want a bassist (m. or f.) to contribute to that. To be part of the songwriting process. Those interested must be dedicated, and willing to do the "OTHER" side of being in a band, aka; making posters, promoting, meeting new people, hanging out after shows to talk, carrying gear, keeping active on our web pages, responding to fans, sending out press kits, doing interviews, etc. Long story short; no flakes please. This is what we want to do with our lives. We are very serious about this and expect our new bassist to be too. Aside from that, we laugh. A lot. At everything. Although virtuosity is not a prerequisite, we do want you to make us a better band. Therefore, you should know your instrument well. Experience counts here.
