Hello,

I play bass. I also play other stuff, but I am a bass player at heart.

My initials are J.A.M, which is quite fitting of my interests.

I like to write and I like to record, but I really like to improvise and create interesting music with good people.

I've been playing in bands since I was in high school and spent all of the 2000s playing original music across Canada at venues ranging from small clubs to concert halls and outdoor festivals.

I spent 8 years with an original alternative funk/rock/reggae band that put out 2 CDs and toured Canada multiple times.

I spent 4 years writing/producing/playing with a tight urban r&b/soul band that put out a CD and played on the festival circuit.

I have also played in several side projects along the way in a variety of genres (acoustic, metal, dub, blues, hip hop, experimental) and have put out another 4 albums with them.

I am a versatile player with ecletic influences, but I really enjoy playing stuff that grooves. I am interested in starting/joining a new project and am pretty open-minded at this point, although ideally I'd like to do something experimental that incorporates dub/funk/afrobeat and heaviness at times.
