I'm a lead guitarist/singer looking for a band to join — or form a trio.
I'm interested in doing covers from the Trews, Lenny Kravitz, Big Sugar, The Black Keys; basically that genre of tunes.
Heavy drums, big bass and fat guitar sound. I'm not interested in a four or five piece band.
Three peeps with great feel and groove is all you need.
I'd like to be in a band where we do thirty or forty songs really well, instead of one hundred played sloppy.
I'd like to play songs that are fun, that rock. I'd like to stay away from the cliche - staple songs: Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and Free Bird — to name a few.
Ego and narcissism aside, I have to like what I sing and play.
I'd like to work on a set-list to play out in bars and pubs. Nothing super serious, just wanna play good tunes with a couple of good guys.
I work full-time with my evenings and weekends free.
I don't have a P.A., but I do have rehearsal space in my house in Gravenhurst.
I am willing to drive as far as Barrie, Orillia, Huntsville - you get the drift.
