ABOUT
NEON BLUE is an Ontario, Canada Country act and recording artist. The band is fronted by brothers Mark and Sean Doney and consists of a group of veteran musicians/performers. Their musical blend of harmonies and riveting instrumentals create a very entertaining, memorable performance.
Their debut CD has received airplay across Canada on CBC Radio and any number of independent and college stations. Combined the first 2 singles "Thank God For The Simple Man" & "One Lonely Night" have received a great deal of international airplay. The songs have hit the National charts in The USA, UK (#2), France, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Australia, Japan, Holland, Ireland (#5) and Belgium. Both tracks have also posted on both the ECMA & International Mainstream Charts.
The Country Music News (the voice of Country Music in Canada) reviewer writes "The music has a rootsy, down home feel, that ranges in style from the early country/rock sounds of The Eagles to the more traditional laid back feel of The Good Brothers"...
NEON BLUE has performed for several prestigious events throughout Ontario. At the 2006 Palmer Rapids Twin Festials they shared the same stage with George Fox, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Beverley Mahood & Lace, Brad Johner and Diane Chase.
