I have been playing guitar since the early 70's. Toured and recorded with Nikki Cruze from 1979 to 1981, won the K97 battle of the bands in 1982 with a project called The Critics, then I took 20 years off and started a Blues band called Saggy Old Joe in 2003. More recently I have played and recorded with a Vancouver original rock band called Jesus Krysler over the last 4 years. I am currently playing bass and guitar for a new show band called Velvet Ears covering what we call Acid Lounge Jazz.

EQUIPMENT

I have 7 guitars, 2 lap steel, mandolin, 2 basses and keyboards. My main guitars are a 1975 Gibson SG Standard, a 1990 Gibson Night Hawk and a 2006 American Fender Jazz. Guitar amp is a Traynor Custom Special 50 watt tube amp and my bass set up is a 250 watt Yorkville Sound Bloc with 2 15" speaker cabs and a 18" Mesa Boogie sub.
