I am a local Barrie resident seeking jazz/funk players to jam with and possibly do the odd gig.

I am only looking for players within the Barrie area. I am 44 and have been playing bass for 29 years. Have extensive live and recording experience.

Looking for mature, responsible and “good” players who are not ego minded or are interested in going on the road. I work full time and do this for fun. I have no illusions of doing it full time.

Influences include John Entwistle, Geezer Butler, Flea, Jaco.

I am not saying I can play as good as they can but I guess at times you can hear some of their influence in my playing. I am a busy bass player. I like to improvise and experiment so if you are looking for someone just to hold down a beat or provide basic bottom end…it’s not me.

Only looking for accomplished, rehearsed players who like to have fun but also take their craft seriously. I am a very easy going person…no ego…easy to get along with and very considerate. I only expect that from others as well.
