ABOUT

Hey, my name is Mack. Been playing guitar for many years, lots of live experience playing in bands, solo, or in a duo. I have recently moved to Victoria with the intention of making live performance a priority. I have evenings and weekends off, and I have my own transportation. If anyone out there wants to play live and needs a guitarist with a great ear and ability to improvise, please contact me via email - mackarmstrong6@. In terms of music preference, I love to play guitar, so anything with a guitar involved and Im happy to play. That said, I do love the heavier stuff - rock, blues, alternative, but I have a soft spot for Jazz and classical as well, although they are not my forte I can pick things up pretty quick.

Influences

Opeth, Mastodon, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Gojira, Deftones, Tool, RATM, and anything bluesy I also really enjoy. I guess you could say I'm not really in to anything light and fluffy, like Jason Miraz or whatever his name is, haha. I prefer to be moved on a deeper level.. That said, I am trying to keep open minded and willing to try anything :)
