Looking to join or assemble a band with the intention of getting bookings at local venues as the first chapter of becoming successful. Establishing a style, fan-base and unique sound through dedicated but enjoyable practice would be priority to accomplishing this.
My goal for 2015 is to enroll at Seneca next September to receive a degree in the Independent Music Production program in order to create a path in the music industry, deepen my knowledge of studio equipment and understand how to become a successful producer in audio engineering.
I've been writing lyrics for different genres over the past 9 years and have always had a passion to become a vocalist, not for egotistical reasons, I strive to perfect the art of vocals as if it's any other instrument. With the availability of information on the internet I've been studying/practicing vocal lessons online and conceptualizing ways of achieving the goals I have in mind. My style practiced would be comparable to Craig Mabbitt, Austin Carlile, Adrian Fitipaldes or George Pettit. I also enjoy the combination of having dual lead vocalists to balance the mix of sound and allow for alternative types of music which could appeal to a wider audience.
Another component I would be able to provide for the group would be a comfortable and spacious area to practice; Greatness can begin in a wicked setup of a garage.
