Female Vocalist Just Outside Of Calgary Looking For Fellow Musicians (male or female) To Build Our Own Project And Let It Take Us Whereever It May Take Us :-)
~Looking for other musicians to collaborate with as well as musicians who can compose melodies of an heavier genre.
~I do not play instruments, however I have been singing since the age of four in variety of performances. That is why I am looking for fellow musicians or band where I am the lead or one of the lead vocalists.
~I have been writing lyrics since my early teens. Although some may say that my lyrics may have a bit of a country sound to it when I sing them, I am working on structuring them to sound like more of an heavier genre.....that is where a musician who has experience in song/melody structure would come into play :-) I also have been working on my vocal range to better myself in performing certain genres with an heavier/louder sound to it.
~The genres I am interested in performing are symphonic metal, power metal, alternative metal, alternative rock, symphonic rock, soft rock. Although I am interested in performing others as well :-)
~I believe the choice of instruments helps as well....the instruments that I find interesting are guitar, bass, keyboards, piano, and drums. I also think that using the organ and violin sometimes along with these could give an interesting sound to the melody of the song.

Influences
I can't really say that I have particular influences because a lot of bands/artists who perform an heavier sounding genres like the ones I listed are somewhat influences to me. However, if I had to pick one, the band with the biggest influence is the symphonic/power metal band Nightwish :-)
