ABOUT

I am a full time Dad and part time photography teacher, artist and musician. I am looking for a vocalist, bass player, and drummer (possible rhythm player) to create a blues/rock influenced band. I would also like to try writing originals. I am looking for talented people who already have an established life and want to add to it by being in a band. You would have to commit to one practice per week. Gigging would be one of our goals but having fun, growing as players and fulfilling our passion for music would come first.

Influences

My biggest influence has got to be SRV. I listen to and enjoy almost any music or music genre as long as there is a solid melody,obvious talent and commitment. I think this broad scope of influences helps me create my own sound. If I had to narrow it down I would say that I have been most influenced by electric blues players like - SRV, Clapton, Buddy Guy, Albert KIng and the youngsters like Kenny Wayne and Johnny Lang. Another strong influence would be classic rock blues based bands like Floyd and Zeppelin.

EQUIPMENT

Fender Strat (Korean with custom hardware) Acoustic Tak. Marshall solid state MG100DFX, but a band would be the push I need to get a Fender tube. Various pedals.
