I started seriously in music when I was about 8 years old. I studied under royal conservatory for piano for many years as a child. In junior high and high school I was in concert, jazz and improv bands for 6 years as a principal trumpet. I have been playing guitar and singing most seriously for the past 13 years or so.
The last 2 years were spent with the military as I deployed to Afghanistan. I actually managed to scrape resources and people together over there and put on a show (despite my job and our isolation from civilization)! Now I'm back and need to jam and play shows with talented musicians again!
I'll play just about anything but it has to be GOOD music. If I had to pick ONE genre it'd be metal (Metallica/Megadeth).
