Just looking around for musicians to possibly start a band, jam, who knows where else it could go. I have played guitar since I was 15. I am currently playing bass for a change. I have a good friend who plays drums in a few different bands and we would like to start something new. Get out and get playing. Influences
For guitar at least, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, John Fruciante, Slash, Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver, Albert King, All the usual blues guys. As far as bass goes, I dig Duff from guns/Velvet Revolver, Sublime/ska/reggae kinda stuff, Just keeping a good groove and complimenting the song as best as I can.
EQUIPMENT
Got rid of my good guitar gear, still have one strat, a line 6 amp with a single 12" and an acoustic. For bass I have a Fender Precision (Mike Dirnt) and a Fender Bassman 250.
