if it emits sound waves, I'll listen :)
but in reality, I learned '70's metal (sabbath, zeppelin, quicksilver, david peel & lower east side, etc, elp, genesis, pink floyd, blah blah blah) but now really just play whatever needs to be played. I have also played in some bands that have had nothing but originals - I love improvisation and jamming; I am not tied to any style, since I have my own.

Lado bass (falcon sn# f-2-1026) (purchased brand new in 1981) (the only bass I will ever own - there is no better)
Traynor Bass Master 47w tube amp (circa 1965)(purchase 1980) and 15" Custom cabinet
Yorkville 400w bass amp with 15" speaker
Couple of little practice amps for camping and destroying (they are tougher to destroy than you'd think!)
