My name's Jay, a 23 year-old metalhead living in Chilliwack, and I’m looking for other people to start a band with. I’ve been playing guitar and bass for about 5 years, still working around playing solos, but I’m not wholly terrible. I listen to pretty much all kinds of metal, but not nu metal or that metalcore crap. I write primarily in the style of Heavy/Traditional Metal, but I’ve branched out a bit into Folk and Doom Metal.
My influences are mainly Manowar, Anvil, Pentagram, Judas Priest (obviously), Tokyo Blade, and some Ensiferum and Wintersun thrown in there.
I want to form a band with all the stuff I’ve got together. I got about 7 songs half finished, and 2 done. I want to keep it all fairly chill, I’m mainly looking for someone to jam with. if you’re balls to the wall metal, drop me a line, if you have an inkling of what those bands sound like, or not, and want to try something new, give me a call.
