SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
My name is Jacob Boudreau i'm 21 y/o and I am currently seeking an already established indie/folk band looking for some rhythm guitar and backing vocals.
I’ve been in 3 bands over the last number of years where I’ve sang lead and did backing guitar work. I’ve initially tried setting up a band here in Halifax but it has since failed due to hectic scheduling. I want to find a great group where I can fit in and still have some room to be creative.
I bring a number of things to the table:
I’ve sung lead for a number of years: so group vocals or sharing vocals shouldn’t be a problem.
Experience performing: so performance anxiety and nervousness wouldn’t be an issue.
Extremely creative: Did a lot of work in social media in my previous bands, advertising/promotion are pretty natural too me.
Approachable: Get a long with mostly everyone I meet, very open to ideas and creativity.
Dependable: Very serious about being in a committed band in the city, and can be counted on.

I’m really into folk, and would love to be in something circling that genre. I love what Of Monsters and Men, The Decemberists, The Head and the Heart, The Lumineers, Deer Tick are doing and would love to do something close.
