Music project-
Currently working with a drummer, guitarist and back up vox on an original music project, name tbd. I am primary writer, band leader, vocalist. Music is hard to describe- a mix of pop, indie, soul- a bunch of it would probably fall under adult contemporary but I like a bit of strangeness and edge thrown in.
Need a bass player that understands nuance and has a feel for soul as well as old school pop (Motown, 70's melodic, early new music) and is creative. We have about two sets of material, almost ready to roll. Looking to play gigs, and hopefully a few festivals. Not a full time commitment but definitely want to be out there.

Influences
Musically, everything from Todd Rundgren, Carole King to The Weakerthans and Brand New- sucker for a smart or evocative lyric and a great melody.
Vocally- Chrissie Hynde, Debbie Harry, Aretha, Gladys, and Feist.
