Looking to play original music that blends the sounds of the Cinematic Orchestra, Alt-J, Radiohead and Bon Iver, with a bit of Mogwai-style guitar volume.
Having said that, I’m open to funk (Stevie Wonder), pop (Mother Mother) and roots (Ben Harper, Jason Isbell).
I love metal and hardcore (Tool, Converge), avant garde/experimental/jazz (Christian Scott, Medeski Martin & Wood), but my style isn’t well suited to those genres.
Not interested in pop-punk or classic rock (why does everyone my age want to play classic rock?).
My drumming in the attached vid is a tad sloppy with bad sound, but it will give you an idea of what I can do.
