The videos listed showcase my singing abilities and guitar playing. 'Habitat for Insanity' is NOT ME SINGING but shows my guitar playing.
Over 30 years experience on the guitar, 25 of that playing in bands, recording, playing live, etc. High level of musicianship and I'm looking for a band that has the same level of skill.
I am an excellent singer and have quite an excellent range. I take pride in singing and playing guitar as not everyone can do these things really well at the same time, especially when doing the more technical stuff.
Pretty easy going when it comes to playing music and I am quite committed (can jam 2 to 3 times per week). I have no ego problem, dislike drama (a lot), get along with just about anyone, and really just want to have FUN (let's underline this). Transportation and such is not an concern.
I am looking for a band that is playing live around Calgary and area or will be. Would prefer something that is also an original project (i.e. writing original music).
I prefer heavier music but I am happy to play any covers that will "pack the dance floor". The heavier music I find is fun to jam and play to a select audience, but it doesn't get people dancing. I understand and accept the requirements for playing live.
I am also willing to get involved where required to help out and support the band.
