63 year old guitar/singer looking for other musicians to play at retirement homes and seniors venues for fun and to improve as a musician.
Currently running a Jamboree in Brampton for the 55+ crowd, looking for fiddle and/or banjo player for the jamboree on the 2nd and 4th mondays of every month.

Influences

mostly 50's and 60's, grew up in a Classic Country household, with a father who was a club musician for 20 years. Interest in learning / playing top 10 hits from the 50's and 60's from any of the popular genres.

EQUIPMENT

I play a Ibanez 270sx, for small venues, Martin HD-35 with a sound hole pickup for larger venues, and Beta 58 for Vocals.
Also have a Gretch Archtop 5122, and an SM-57, but need more time to get to know my VOX amp.
For duets I run a Berhinger 1202 mixer and Bose L1.
For larger groups, run a Berhinger pmp3000 with a pair of Yorkville E-10's.
