ye the People is a musical art project from Toronto spawned from a combination of songwriting and performance art, costume design and visual art. At times a solo endeavor and at others, collaboration among many, Eye the People is still in its infancy, set to release a full length debut disc in early 2011. The live show is usually Eye – an eyeball-
headed figure in work coveralls and chucks – with an analog effects pedal board, guitar, drum machine and percussion instruments and an RC-50 loop station performing well crafted garage rock pop tunes as well as surreal, psychedelic Rock’n'Roll solo jams from the outer limits. Occasionally additional artists will join him on stage for adventurous,
mind blowing experiences that leave audiences affected and yearning for more. Catch a live show for a trip to remember and keep an “Eye” out for the upcoming disc release which promises to deliver.
