Evilpickle is a part time business name my wife an I created in Europe to provide a community with entertainment including foh and monitor support, engineering, karaoke, dj and live entertainment. We had a pool of around 10 musicians of various styles and abilities in which we created shows and support for numerous festivals and NATO venues...performing for literally thousands of troops. Many of the sets were put together within a week.
The videos i have posted were made by people who used to come out to our shows... They video'd and posted these performances. Ive noticed here many people dont post videos... I guess to each their own, regardless of performances people need to show a little more... Me thinks.
Another gripe is the, " no egos" garbage... First of all, do you actually think someone with an ego... Knows they have an ego? This is lack of experience with working with numerous musicians...
I actually prefer guitar players with egos... This actually promotes confidence and from my experience they turn out to be the best players, with the best stage presence... (Although they never know they actually have an ego... :)
Ive been doing music for 20 plus years... I was in a popular Canadian Band in the early 90's which I will not divulge... I am now a Canadian Forces member. Ive toured played for thousands done sound for large musical groups, partied with some of the greats and had fun...
It seems everyone wants a quick fix... No one wants to work a little... If youve got the right bunch of guys... Gigs are never a problem... Ive got gigs lined up right now... And i dont even have a band yet..:)
So my wife Rockberta (singer/guitar) and quite good... Can do lead guitar, iincredible harmonies, and lead vox from Heart to Crowe.... And me... Are looking for a "shredder" with an ego and a veteran drummer...
So far no luck... But weve only been back in Canada for a month...Rock On
