SEEKING
Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Background Singer.ABOUT
I've been playing in bands forever it seems... bars, weddings, corporate, and concert performances (soft-seat theatre venues and stadium/festival events).
I'm looking into this more for fun than anything, and I don't want to play out often -once per month would be enough for me. ( I have a steady day gig) I'm also looking (if possible) to avoid bars... the pay hasn't changed for the last 35 yrs, and I'm not crazy about getting home at 4am anymore. I would love to get together with some like-minded people... playing events, weddings, corporate stuff -and the odd bar now and then.
I take my playing seriously, but I'm not into playing with people that take it "too" seriously. I don't have an ego about any of this. Playing music is something that I've enjoyed for a long time, and it's my outlet from everyday life... I don't want anything to taint that in any way.
I would be into playing electric lead/rhythm guitar, acoustic rhythm guitar, or bass -along with lead vocals (for some songs) or backing vocals.
