    Lyrics Byt Tyler McAley-Vallier

Oh, wait for the moment and beware the lions. They’ve come to rip me apart and taste my blood. There’s no mercy in their eyes so... Bow down but keep your knife in hand. They prey off the weak so play along for now. Bow down there’s no mercy in their eyes so the second that he turns his back on your, strike him down. Oh you were never king. All you were was in your head. Now that we’re done you’re nothing left. Regretting all you’ve ever done? Now you’re all alone with nobody near by, the blood drips from your eyes. You stupid bitch, you’ve left nothing but the end. You once wore that crown upon your head. But here you find yourself in the lion’s den. How does it feel staring in the face of fear? How does it feel being the meal? Oh you were never king. What will become of us when the earth doth shake? When our blades collide with our enemies? Nothing to fear but fear itself. You thought you were king. You wanted it all. I’ve yearned so long to se you fall. Welcome to the den bitch. You once wore that crown upon your head. But here you find yourself in the lion’s den. How does it feel, staring in the face of fear? How does it feel, being the meal?

ABOUT

Hello vocalists of the world.

Ecliptium is seeking a new vocalist. Our old vocalist Tyler has decided to call it quits from the music scene for a while in order to slay dragons, time travel, and wage war on strange new worlds.

Ecliptium is an Ottawa metal band. If you really wanted to break down our sound we fall under neo-classical-progressive-metal-core; at the end of the day it’s all metal. This advertisement is for those who can scream or sing & scream. As long as you are good at your craft, dedicated, passionate about music, and are easy to get along with, Ecliptium will be happy to take you along for the ride. We are looking for someone with great stage presence. We need someone who is energetic, crowd oriented, and not afraid to get in people’s faces. When we get off the stage we want to walk away from our set feeling like we’ve set the bar for how metal should be played.

Basic Requirements:
18-23 Years of age.

>Must have own microphone (PA details can be sorted out later).

>Must have transport to and from jam space (bus/ car/ magical flying carpet… Just be able to get to practice)

>Must be able to practice once or twice a week. (Band usually practices on Fridays as well as an additional weekday during the week of an upcoming gig)

For more details please contact Jason Deley (613-697-8980 jason@ecliptium.com) for more details and/ or setting up an audition. You can also check us out on facebook and MySpace. www.myspace.com/ecliptium | www.facebook.com/ecliptium
