Hey yall. My name is Lindsay Misiner and I am 16 years old. I live in Halifax (well, actually dartmouth but I'm in Halifax every day.) and I need to get in a band.
I am looking to start a psychedelic rock/blues band.
It would be nice to get people that are also underage because then we wont have the 20 year old guitarist being pissed we can't play that many bar shows. If you are 19+ and you don't mind that.. then hey, why the hell not right? But otherwise, if that would annoy you.. sorry bro's.
I am a vocalist, and I am constantly compared to Janis Joplin. I have a crazy rasp bluesy voice, but it's a lot lower than Janis'. I can do many things and sing many different styles and I think that would be a great thing for a band because like sh*t.. we could do so many interesting things!
I am looking for a lead guitarist, bassist and drummer. Keys would be great too.

And by the way, I play a few instruments myself. I'm a decent guitar player (I can accompany myself very well, self taught) and I play absolutely everything by ear. I hate reading music and have absolutely no interest in ever doing it. Everything is about soul to me. It always has been and always will be.
