ABOUT
Hey, all. I'm a classically trained pianist that's doing my best to break free of the printed page. I got to grade 8 piano in the RCM and quit after I realized I couldn't play anything. 4 years ago I started taking lessons at Mount Royal and now I can read chord symbols and improvise. I'm a member of the Westwinds music organization but I'm looking to play with other musicians and improve my skills. I've only had one gig thus far in my life: it was playing a private party for 4.5 hours (jazz and pop). But it's a start, and it's something I never would have been able to do five years ago. If there's anyone out there who wants to jam or needs a piano/keyboard player, let me know.

I googled the chords, transcribed the melody with Sibelius and put the whole thing together. The quality isn't the greatest, there are a few mistakes and I stutter at one point, but I pretty much winged this. I'll put a more polished version online soon.
